Today's Worship Experience 8-21-2011
Getting things ready to go was like a lot of other Sundays, in a word, hectic. There was just enough time to make sure everything was working and everyone had the charts they needed. The sound check went okay and after a little tweaking here and there things seemed to be at that "good as they're going to get" point.
The set list was really good; Hold Us Together as a frumper, Children of God, O Glorious Day, Your Great Name and then finally You Are My King during the altar call. Very good songs written by very talented spirit filled people being played by a gifted praise band but still only words set to a tune.
Then something happened today that should happen every Sunday when we have worship...God became the only audience that mattered.

New Song for Us
We have been working up this song for the praise and worship at the 9AM service and hope to have it ready in the next couple of weeks.

4th Watch to Play on Sunday
The breakout band from the praiseband will be playing a performance piece by the Christian Rock Band Fireflight.
