Today's Worship Experience 8-21-2011

Getting things ready to go was like a lot of other Sundays, in a word, hectic. There was just enough time to make sure everything was working and everyone had the charts they needed. The sound check went okay and after a little tweaking here and there things seemed to be at that "good as they're going to get" point.

The set list was really good; Hold Us Together as a frumper, Children of God, O Glorious Day, Your Great Name and then finally You Are My King during the altar call. Very good songs written by very talented spirit filled people being played by a gifted praise band but still only words set to a tune.

Then something happened today that should happen every Sunday when we have worship...God became the only audience that mattered.
